Have a Seat….

Even though I have now lived in my apartment for a little over a year, furniture is still limited. ¬†In fact, all I have really acquired since last December has been 3 chairs. ¬†Though this doesn’t quite make me ready for full on dinner parties, it does mean I have been able to host a few small get togethers and that means I am definitely closer to having the dinner parties of my dreams.

Take a look at some of my favorite table and chair set ups and check out what I have so far….what do you think?

Here is my white table, bench and two white chairs. The table serves as my work station by day and dinner table by night. The bench was originally a pale wood but since I wanted to incorporate a bit more color into the apartment, I painted it navy. I still have room for two more chairs...thoughts/suggestions?

Here is a peek at the bench as it was transforming into a navy beauty.
